When the idea of releasing all Cure videos on tape came about, it was realized that
no videos had been made for the earliest singles. Killing an Arab, Boys Don't Cry and Jumping Someone Else's Train were then directed by Tim Pope for the purpose of making a complete collection.
The Killing an Arab video was filmed in Rye.
The main character, John Button, is the old
man from the Standing On a Beach cover.
He earned his life as a fisherman and died
soon after the video was made.
