Anyone knows if Robert Smith has plans for this summer ? Apart from barbecues and waterskiing. Will the Cure reunite any time soon ? Maybe the best way to find out is writing directly to them. And wait for something to happen. (sign up to Cureconnections, if you're unregistered, to react).
26 July 2010 - A lot of new TV appearences were added ! Some of them, I had no idea they existed. We're getting closer to an exhaustive list (a few appearences are still missing but are hopefully on their way).
All the Cure's studio recording sessions were also added. It seems people like that kind of summed up pages. More convenient if you don't have time to browse through the site. And while being there, I made a radio sessions page.

Third part of the Picture Tour 1981 is up.
I know, the charts aren't particulary meaningful with a band like the Cure, but it's interesting to look at the figures anyway. You can see which albums revealed the group in a certain country. And the results are quite different. Seventeen Seconds sold a LOT in New Zealand in 1980. Faith entered at #1 there ! For France it was the Head on the Door (after honorable success of Japanese Whispers & The Top), for other countries Disintegration or Wish...

Happy birthday to Robert Smith ! Best wishes of happiness.
To my amazement, a very small village in Burgundy (France) is called "Cure" ! Can you believe it ? I had no idea of its existence until I saw the sign !
About 20 new TV appearences were added (thanks to Ariel, Anna & my archives). We're getting closer to 400.
Maybe someday a few old ones, long lost and forgotten (Australia 1981/83, Tapage Nocturne 85 ?) will resurface. Who knows.
Faith extra lyrics Stuttgart 92 and Forever lyrics in Lyon 92 were also added.

The "proper" concerts section is back. As I knew it would be someday. So far only 1979 & 1980 but some rare setlists and some new photos here and there are included. The rest is coming... it's a lot of work !

An update for the setlist completists with the rare Hollywood 1984 at the old site.
Please note that the correct setlist for San Francisco 25 Oct 1984 is also there (the fragment on the common digital bootleg including 100 Years, Give Me It, Piggy In The Mirror and Caterpillar comes from Glasgow 25 Aug 1984 and is nowhere to be found on the original bootleg tape). I believe the 1979-84 setlist info you can find online still includes some mistakes : for exemple Glasgow 05-05-80 doesn't exist as a "genuine bootleg". So here are my own researches.

Tonight is the 22th anniversary of my first Cure concert. I was only 13 and that was obviously the greatest event of my life back then. I recall this strange and wonderful impression of actually seeing the group in real (somewhere in the front rows -I don't know how I survived) as opposed to flat pictures and posters on my wall...
