After In Between Days, Robert Smith pointed out : "You know the feeling that you've got a song that you know really well, something you love a lot, and it's just like really friendly and you're talking of something and you find it really hard to explain what you want to say. And then for for the next minute the band played some short instrumental tune that was really close to the Watching Me Fall basic chords !!! And then started From The Edge of The Deep Green Sea. Maybe Robert wanted the band to slow down a bit ? Treasure had an extended intro including improvised bass VI solos for a change. There was also some "scat singing" on the extended part of Why Can't I Be You ! Also worth mentioning were A Forest's extra lyrics evoking b sides (2 Late and Harold and Joe !).
