The first soundcheck of the UK tour was the opportunity to cover 3 songs : Silver Machine (Hawkwind), Hanging Around (Stranglers), You Really Got Me (The Kinks). They also played Seventeen Seconds but Robert Smith probably never intented to include the song in the set list and part of the band never rehearsed that song anyway. Just a personal treat.
