Robert Smith made a hint on A Forest to the opening act by singing "And also the trees" (instead of the "into the trees" line). Happy The Man was dedicated to Mary while The Lovecats was played for the first time in front of an audience on this last English show. The whole UK tour was a success, being sold out everywhere. A better equipment (sound and lights) and an even more distinctive guitar sound (with lots of effects) brought the Cure to a level they didn't reach before on stage.
