Strangely beginning with M, this concert must have been set up in order for the German TV to film it. It's following the Cure's tradition of setting up shows without having a lot of time to rehearse the songs. All the more that Phil Thornalley wasn't available and the band had to find another musician to play bass with them. Norman Fisher Jones took the job. With the option of going on the world tour with the Cure afterwards if Phil couldn't do it. But unfortunately, for Fisher Jones, the replacement was short lived. So that was the only Cure show on which he played bass. The concert itself gave a few different and interesting versions for instance The Top's drum beat speeding up and slowing down at the end, that song featuring extra lyrics as well. A few lyrics were also improvised on Primary (on which Robert Smith didn't bother to play the guitar) and on Pornography (savagely under rehearsed at every level).
