FAITH extra lyrics : I watch for you Another moment High in the scent So loose I always will Behind and silently I kiss you And I can hold her and wait Like I would never do with you And I'm holding her Like I can never do with you His face so cold She looks away as he said Most beautiful girl in the world The most beautiful girl in the world He grabs her and says After all of these years I still love you so much I still love you so much He puts his face away Cause he never can look Once he's looking away And she's looking around For the other thing to start Like it never will So I'll wait for you Where I always wait Behind the signs that sell the news I'll watch for you like yesterday Touch like yesterday There's nothing left but faith Happy birthday to you SOUNDCHECK : SIAMESE TWINS ONE HUNDRED YEARS SHAKE DOG SHAKE JUST LIKE HEAVEN (voice+guitar) PLAINSONG |

Possibly the longest concert given by the band (approximately 200 minutes in a row). One Hundred Years included some improvised lyrics and Faith was dedicated to Shelleyan Orphan (the opening act) which Robert qualified of "fucking brilliant". Some songs were played for the first time of the whole tour that night. At the end of the show, Robert Smith thanked everybody for all these years... Absolutely certain they wouldn't go on stage again. |
