A very relaxed and intensely focused Robert Smith on stage. The band was playing a familiar venue in their home country and needless to say in front of an enthousiastic and cheerful international audience which was instantly taken with this night of celebration. Really strong performance by the entire group (45 songs, again that's just amazing), many tracks were perfect to the point of being shocking. Three was an excellent version (including improvised lyrics). About talking more to the audience, Robert confessed that for the first time ever he had been practising to himself what to say to people to introduce the different albums but then he realized it couldn't work of course. The last encore exploring the pop territory seemed perfectly logical with the party atmosphere of the evening. Let's Go To Bed was introduced as "why you shouldn't take drugs" and on Lovecats Robert changed the lyrics to "You're wonderfully in tune" as the crowd was singing along. Tim Burton and Justin Jones from And Also The Trees attended the show.
