Another show with some kind of slight crazyness in the air. Some people reported that Robert actually had an argument with somebody in the front rows ! The end of Why Can't I Be You turned into a joke with Boris and Roger going on and on with Robert Smith repeating several times "Simply elegant" hoping they were going to stop at last. 10.15 Saturday Night (no bass solo) and Killing An Arab were finally played on this tour. And Faith was shortened to a ten minutes (but excellent) version. The extra lyrics refered to Forever circa 1984 ("we can dance or talk it over"). |
