JUNE

06th
Athens, Leoforos Stadiou
First concert of the new line up. A Forest included some extra lyrics (a rare occurence on this tour !).

10th
Milano, Parco Aquatica
It was raining that day and the ground transformed itself into mud. And the miracle happened, the rain stopped as the Cure entered the stage. Shiver and Shake had a few improvised lyrics. Porl Thompson (on the same bill with Page & Plant) joined the band on stage for the last two songs !

17th
Konstanz, Rock Am See Festival
A Forest had the music starting again at the end of the song with drums kicking back. But there were no extra lyrics, like most times. Robert Smith also declared : I'm sorry I'm not talking much tonight but...probably in half an hour I'll be talking rubbish, you'll wish I never started."

25th
Glastonbury, Festival
Part of the show was broadcast on the radio. It didn't include an encore, but the set got slightly changed. Porl Thompson (on the same bill with Page & Plant) joined the band on stage for End again !

30th
Roskilde, Festival
End included a few different lines but the most unusual was the guitar solo ending on A Forest. Robert Smith played the last notes in a heavy metal way (100 notes a second) as Van Halen was on the same bill ! That night's version included extra lyrics, mainly about "change is always bad".

JULY

01st
Torhout, Festival
Strangely the band played before REM (even if both bands were on top of the bill). So that actually meant a shorter concert. Of course, the encore wasn't supposed to happen but they did it anyway. Robert Smith explained to journalists that he could go to bed early then and didn't mind this with a band like REM.

02nd
Werchter, Festival
Like the previous day, they played before REM and ended the main set on Shiver And Shake to be able to give a real encore with the time they were allowed. The group ended with old classics they didn't play yet : Three Imaginary Boys, 10:15 Saturday Night & Killing An Arab.

07th
Belfort, Festival des Eurockéennes
Want got a very extended intro. There was probably some problem going on. One of the few festivals where most of the audience were fans. Maybe the bit of You Really Got Me (originally by the Kinks and always a favorite of Robert Smith) was played and sung because Van Halen did it in Roskilde on the previous week.

09th
Lisboa, Super Bock Festival

The concert took place on the Lisbon's docks that were underneath the Ponte 25 De Abril, one of the largest suspension bridge in Europe. Robert Smith declared to the press that he wanted to see who in the new line up was going mad on tour and who wasn't (since they already knew they would go on a 8 months tour the following year).

14th
Gurten, Festival

Technical problem on Robert's guitar on Disintegration. The show was recorded for the radio.

18th
Madrid, Plaza de Toros

This concert wasn't planned originally. It was an extra, agreeing to replace REM that cancelled their show there. That was all set up only five days before it actually took place. Rare playing of Killing An Arab without 10:15. A great version of Forever followed.
