Why Can't I Be You? (extended) has been omitted to facilitate a release on a single cd, it appears on the
LP and cassette versions. Originally the band wanted to put together rare 12" remixes on an album, but they finally followed a new concept: give tracks to remix to a dj. The remixes noted "extended" are the ones from original 12" (not remixed again) and these can't really be considered as "rare". The Walk and A Forest have been recorded again that summer because the original master tapes had been lost and those new recordings were then remixed. The sleeve was designed by Maya and Andy Vella.

Three different promotional 12" were also issued on a plain black sleeve featuring the Non-Fiction (a division of Fiction Records) logo:

This 12" package box was released only in France. 2.500 copies of these were made. Each cd includes 2 or 3 songs from the track list, Why Can't I Be You? (extended) doesn't appear on any of them.
