single. Boys Don't Cry was then remixed and Robert Smith resang the vocals.
The choice of the song has also probably to do with the fact that the
original 7" wasn't so successful at the time.
Elektra insisted to re-release Let's Go To Bed in America instead of the
new version of Boys Don't Cry, a compromise was found by putting Boys
Don't Cry on the b side.
